Volunteers must be aged 13 or over
Sessions must not be before 7am or after 7pm at any time
Sessions should not exceed 2 hours on any school day or Sunday
Must not be more than 1 hour before the start of school
Must not exceed the maximum of 12 hours per week in term time
Youth volunteers must have a break of at least 1 hour after four hours work
Youth volunteers must have at least 2 weeks free from employment during the school summer holiday

Newsletter Creative Designer 13+
This role is a voluntary position and will require long-term commitment of 1-2 hours per month to create a one-page flyer style newsletter based on information from a monthly report document. The art is to create a sense of unity in the design but also make each one have a unique charm. Canva is the programme currently used but open to other ideas. Training can be given although it should be relatively simple to pick up. This role can be done remotely, working from home.
News Feed Volunteers 16+
A creative and exciting voluntary role for a small team of individuals to be involved in gathering local news stories from a variety of sources and producing a snapshot of the relevant and interesting ones for our website. This person must be time committed, skilled with English and careful with copyrights (providing sources and links etc). You can work from home at hours that suit you but the website must be updated a few times a week so needs the time available to commit to this.
Social Media Assistant Manager 16+
Assist the current Social Media Manager with keeping our social media accounts up to date, relevant, accurate and well presented. There is an importance to get exposure for Queen's Park Trust to increase our membership through promoting what we do on all social media channels possible. This role is a 'work from home' role. It requires a trustworthy, passionate, energetic, enthusiatic, engaging person who respects the diversity in our community.
Social Media Engagement Officer 16+

Litter Picking 13+
Gardening 13+
Litter picking from the towpath and waterway along the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal from Ladbroke Grove to Great Western Road. These sessions are held on a regular basis in a small team with equipment provided. Other areas considered too.
We have a project to plant and maintain all the tree pits in the Queen's Park Westminster Ward. We need volunteers to help us get them started and also individuals to adopt a single tree or two or three and keep that tree pit free of litter, weeded and watered in the Summer.
