WhatsApp Community
Welcome to Queen’s Park Trust WhatsApp Community Groups
30 different WhatsApp groups all within 1 community. Choose what groups suit you to join according to different themes, locations or rules. Group topics were voted on by QPT members, please do feel free to make suggestions of your own for new groups and we can put them to the vote. You can be a member of 1-6 groups as preferred.
General Chat
You may reply to messages on the group and chat about whatever you like within the rules. An active group aiming to create a stronger sense of community. See examples of messages welcomed below.
Queen's Park Neighbourhood Watch
This is only available to residents local to Queen’s Park Avenues. Discussion must be kept to a minimum and relevant only to important issues.
Individual Streets or Neighbouring Streets
You and your neighbours may choose to use this as you like and could even organise get togethers as you like. If you are a corner house, feel free to join both streets.
Items for Sale or Free
An opportunity to buy items locally (or acquire free items) without the cost of travel and the impact to environment travel brings. We take no responsibility for the transactions that take place here so please be safe and trade responsibly.
Sustainability and Eco Projects
Please do feel free to discuss projects and share ideas but also use the group for sharing resources, equipment, plants, clothes and food that you no longer want. QPT take no responsibility over the health and safety of sharing items with neighbours.
Queen's Purrk
Feel free to chat anything cats in here, especially local cats but please only do discuss cat related topics! If you are concerned about the safety of a cat, please do feel free to discuss those posts on other groups but just general cat chat, keep here!

Examples of Messages Welcomed on General Chat
If you find the chat gets too much, rather than just leave, please feel free to be a member of just the quieter Neighbourhood Watch group (if within the Avenues) or mute the group because the higher the number of members we have, the more support we can get for the neighbourhood from the council and other groups. Otherwise do consider an alternative Queen's Park Trust membership such as Neighbourhood Watch online, or email or text subsciption (although text subscription does not offer receipt of newletters and monthly progress reports).
Welcome and enjoy!
"It's so nice to have a neighbour group so we can share stuff with so stuff doesn't have to go to waste."
