View from Ladbroke Grove Bridge looking West
Looking west, the water had a slightly green-grey appearance with moderate clarity and gentle surface movement. No significant floating litter, foam or oil pollution was visible. Vegetation was established along the towpath and canal edges.

Looking east, the water appeared particularly calm and reflective, with very little visible surface pollution or debris. Healthy vegetation was present along both banks, helping to soften the built-up canal environment and provide habitat along the water's edge.

Looking east, the canal appears brighter and more reflective, with the blue sky creating a noticeably clearer appearance.
The water is calm with only slight rippling and strong reflections from the surrounding buildings and vegetation. The second image shows the same general area under stronger evening sunlight.
Here the water appears more green-brown, although this is likely influenced by the low sun, reflections and greater shade from the trees. A small amount of floating material is visible, but there does not appear to be any significant accumulation of litter or surface pollution.
The water appears very still with good surface clarity, and there is little obvious floating litter, foam or oil pollution. Vegetation along the canal edge is well established, particularly beside the residential buildings, helping to provide habitat and soften the built-up surroundings.

The view from Ha’Penny Bridge looking East shows particularly still water, producing strong reflections of the surrounding buildings and moored boats. The surface appears largely free from floating litter, foam or oil.

The view from Ha'Penny Bridge looking West shows similarly calm conditions. Strong evening sunlight makes assessment of the water colour more difficult, but there is no obvious accumulation of litter or surface pollution.
